NAMM 2013 Guitar Coverage: 5 Things That Will Be Huge This Year

For those who don't know what NAMM is, it's basically the most important week of the year for musicians. Every musical instrument manufacturer in the world descends on Anaheim, California, and unveils their new products.

If you want to see the best new pedals, guitars, amps and accessories from companies such as Marshall, Fender, Gibson, TC Electronic, Orange, Peavey, Boss, Line 6, not to mention hundreds of independent companies and luthiers, then you should probably stay up to date with what's happening at NAMM from January 24-27.

A team of four journalists from Sonic State are going to NAMM this year, and we'll be filming all the best new products, writing reports, and interviewing the guys responsible for developing the new wave of guitars, pedals and amps for 2013. We'll also be bringing you interviews with some of the best guitarists in the world.

All of this content goes online as the show happens, so you'll feel like you're there (except without the impending exhaustion everybody experiences on the last day of the show).

From speaking to manufacturers, and gossiping with people we shouldn't be gossiping with, we've got a pretty good idea of what you should be looking out for this year, even if we don't know all the details of the products yet.
