Sonic LAB: Roland FantomEX - Expansion Pre-Loaded

US New edition - adds the EX software for you      25/04/24

Roland's latest iteration of the Fantom is now the Fantom EX which is essentially the same Fantom you could buy yesterday, but now with the EX software expansion - this adds:

• Exclusive JUPITER-8 ACB Expansion and SH-101 ACB Expansion* with authentic sound and response, powered by Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB)
• German Concert V-Piano Expansion 01, previously only available for the RD-2000 stage piano
• Newly developed SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 Expansion
• JD-800 Model Expansion recreates the landmark Roland digital synth from 1991
• n/zyme Model Expansion, a powerful modern synthesizer engine designed for the FANTOM environment
• New studio-grade Shimmer Reverb and Modulation Reverb effect types
• New V-Piano graphical interface

 

So now you can get it all in the box without having to install it. It should be mentioned that there is literally NO difference in the hardware apart from a new logo (FantomEX).

Due to a  complicated set of scheduling , we had the Fantom 7 with the EX software  pre installed in for a look, prior to this announcement. So in our video David aka SuperFrog Saves Tokyo had a look at the new EX features, but with the regular Fantom hardware. Essentially there is no difference we're told.
