Roland and Edirol had a fairly large presence at the show - pretty much most of the back of the hall was taken up with their products, it seemed, and in the Edirol part we found our Usual Suspect Julien Tritsch. We pointed the Big Scary Camera at him... turned on the bright spotlight, and when we mentioned the wet towels in the camera bag he confessed there was indeed a new product from the Cakewalk-Roland-Edirol stable; Guitar Tracks Pro is now at Version 4. It was so new he'd only seen it just before the show, and there wasn't even packaging ready, so this is very much a 'first look', but it's slated for release very soon. There will also be a bundle version with the UA-1G guitar USB interface so you can plug right into your computer. There's more info on the website:-
