Taylor Guitars announces Europe-based Headquarters and Distribution 09-Nov-10

Taylor Guitars has announced that starting January 1, 2011, the company will assume control of its European distribution through its own Europe-based headquarters. Located in Amsterdam, the new offices and warehouse will support operations that include dedicated sales, distribution, customer service and factory-level repair for Taylor owners throughout Europe. The move, which follows the completion of a distribution agreement with Fender Musical Instrument Corporation that began in 2008, was driven in part by the desire to deliver the full-service brand experience to European customers as it has in North America.

"We are tremendously excited to connect directly with our dealers and customers in the region," shares Brian Swerdfeger, Taylor's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We believe this direct approach will allow us to provide the same kind of brand experience and customer service that have made Taylor an industry leader in the U.S."

The Netherlands offices will be staffed with full-time Taylor employees. Additional information on the company's European operations will be available in the coming weeks.
