WNAMM11: Jammit App for Guitarists and Drummers

So we've all been trying to learn a song, and all of the tabs on the internet suck, the solo is too fast to work out by ear, and trying to play along to the full recording results in a chaotic double-tracked solo effect.

If you haven't ever had this problem, then you are either in G3, or need to get out more.

Well Jammit solves the problems for us mere mortals. A free app, you can download bundles of your favourite songs, and use the software to play along to tape masters of the real song.

If you just want the backing track, you can mute the guitar and the software will display realtime tab or music notation as the backing track plays.

If you want to isolate the guitar part and learn it by ear, then you can mute the backing track and hear the guitar along to the click.

You can even slow the parts down, loop them, and build up in speed.
