Top guitar amp manufacturer Orange have announced they will be sponsoring the Icon award at the 2011 Kerrang awards to be held in London on the 7th June. Known as one of the most insane party the rock 'n' roll calendar has to offer, this year will be extra special as the magazine celebrates its 30th Birthday.

Orange amps have many of their endorsee’s nominated for this years awards including My Chemical Romance, Bring Me The Horizon, The Blackout, Young Guns and You Me At Six.

In keeping with working with the hottest new acts in the metal world, Orange also endorse the bands Francesca and Dead Lay Waiting, both are nominated for the prestigious Best British Newcomer bands and Orange endorsee’s The Pretty Reckless are nominated for the Best International Newcomer band.
