Improve Pedalboard Tone

Sonic Edge introduces The Fluffer pedal board buffer 01-Dec-11

Sonic Edge tell us that their new Fluffer isolation pedal board buffer should be placed directly between your guitar output and the first pedal on your pedal board for optimum tone and performance.

The Fluffer can also be placed directly after the send feed in any FX loop or can go directly between your guitar and amp as well. The Fluffer reduces the loading effect caused by stacking multiple FX pedals between your guitar and the amplifier. This unwanted loading effect can cause loss of signal, high end frequency reduction and an overall unpleasant muddy sound that no player wants.

A Sonic Edge spokesperson had this to say, "Plug in the Sonic Edge Fluffer isolation pedal board buffer and listen to it wash away the mud and add the sparkle back to your sound."

Glad you dig it:>)

The amp we used was our Fargen AC Duo Tone...best of Vox AC15 meets 18 watt Marshall

Cheers! Fargen Amps

fluffer? holy sh#%.. ROTFLMAO

how do you keep a straight face when you say, "the sonic edge fluffer"?

...but what is that sick amp you are fluffing? Its soooo nice

And you are absolutely right, you cannot hear the difference through even the best mac speakers. In headphones, its there

Not the same....especially if the Comp is off and has a true bypass switch....same as having nothing there...if it's a buffered bypass switch on older pedals...most suck tone....

What's the difference between having something like this and a high quality compressor first in the chain?

Thanks to all who have e-mailed We are aware of the error at 1.38...it should read "Without Fluffer"

We will update and correct this video after the initial launch to prevent a dead video link at this location.
