Check this out! It's a fuzz pedal with two fuzz modes - the Fuzz Light Year. It sounds pretty gnarly, and if you buy one, you get to tell all the other guitarists that you own a pedal that was handbuilt by a real-life pedal geek in Vancouver (Julian Marrs).
We've already written an article about the release of the pedal, but below, you will find a new video of the pedal being used with a keyboard, and it sounds amazing!
As a wannabee astrophysicist, I'll pretty much buy anything that has connotations of space in the title, but if you want to make up your own mind then you should check out the video below.
Here's what Julian has to say about his pedal:
"Two fuzz types in one box - one channel consisting of transistor gain staging and germanium diode clipping and the other using Op-amp gain staging and MOSFET clipping. This is the pedal you want if you're looking to add girth to your sound. It goes from velcro fuzz all the way up to distortion - And sounds fantastic on both guitar and bass. Designed and handmade by a Vancouver musician."
Price of the pedal is $200 (with a power supply), and you can buy one here.
