Jack White And Tom Jones Cover Howlin' Wolf's 'Evil'
Song will be released as single on Third Man 10-Feb-12
For those of you who have been eagerly anticipating the collaboration between Jack White and Tom Jones; you can now listen to what will be the A-side of the Third Man vinyl release.
The A-side is a cover of Howlin' Wolf's 'Evil', and features Jones in booming blues form – reminiscent of his work with Jools Holland.
The single will be released on March 5th, along with a cover of Frankie Laine's 'Jezebel', which features one of the best vocal lines of all time:
"If ever the Devil were born, without a pair of horns, then it was you."
Jack White will also be releasing his debut solo album Blunderbuss this year, on April 24th.
The song is available in either the YouTube video above, or in the SoundCloud embed below. Although Third Man are pretty tight on taking leaked material offline, so you might have to be quick!
