Suhr have become well known for the build-quality of their guitars and the playability of their necks and fretboards, their quality is their selling point, followed closely by their good looks. It's the guitar equivalent of a rocket scientist who also happens to be a beauty queen.
Well now Suhr have announced a limited run of the modern body shape with a Korina Quilt finish. The Suhr Korina Quilt will be limited to a production run of 40, and features a heady mix of quality woods.
Korina for the body, quilted maple for the top, and pau ferro for the fretboard and even the knobs - wooden knobs is always a nice touch, bassists have been trying to tell us that for years, but we never listen.
The same popular 'modern elliptical' neck shape as used on many Suhr guitars is used on the Suhr Korina Quilt, and the pickup configuration is HSH.
Neck pickup - JST SSV Humbucker (Zebra finish)
Middle pickup - JST ML Single Coil (black finish)
Bridge pickup - JST SSH+ Humbucker (Zebra finish)
Price - TBC
