Video: The Mini Band Are Improving All The Time

New video shows full set at The Joiners   19-Nov-12

We recently featured Zoe Thomson, lead guitarist with the Mini Band, on a feature about guitarists who are too young to vote, but old enough to rock.

Alongside her fellow members of the the Mini Band, a rock group consisting of 9 to 11-year-olds, she has made appearances on television and the band have amassed somewhat of a following online.

And it's no wonder why, they're doing incredibly well for themselves. A new video of a full set from The Joiners in Southampton (where bands such as Green Day, Oasis and Coldplay have also performed) shows the Mini Band opening with a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman, with a kick-ass solo from Zoe.

If these little guys are as good as this now, there's no telling what they could be like in five years time. There's certainly not much room for improvement when it comes to stage presence, takes a lot to get up in front of a room of people twice your size and rock the hell out.

There's also some of their own original material in this setlist, which is actually more entertaining than the covers, some great hard-rock/metal riffs in there.

Nothing but praise for the Mini Band!
