Atoms For Peace Announce More Shows

Thom Yorkes new project gets new shows   04-Mar-13

Following the release of the new Atoms For Peace album AMOK last week Thom announced on Radiohead.com that the band would be playing more live shows than was previously thought. These are the new dates:

Saturday  6th: France - Paris Zenith

Tuesday  9th: Belgium - Antwerp Lotto Arena

Wednesday 10th: Germany - Munich Zenith

Friday  12th: Slovakia - Pohada Festival [onsale now]

Saturday 13th: Serbia - Exit Festival [onsale now]

Tuesday  16th: Italy - Rome: Rock in Roma @ Ippodromo delle Capannelle

Wednesday 17th: Italy -  Milan: City Sound Festival @ Ippodromo del Galoppo

Sunday  21st: Germany - Berlin Melt Festival [onsale now]

Wednesday  24th: UK - London Roundhouse

Thursday  25th: UK - London Roundhouse

Friday  26th: UK - London Roundhouse

I for one am very excited about this album and although i havent had time to listen to the full thing yet, I very much enjoyed the video that they released last week, which you can see above. However I think it will be very interesting to see how the record translates into a live show as in essence the whole thing could be done by just Thom and Nigel as they were the ones who took the recordings done in San Francisco and turned them into a fully fledged album.
