BEHRINGER has unveiled its new EUROLIVE B207MP3, which they describe as a multi-purpose, 150-Watt, active loudspeaker designed for vocal and/or keyboard monitoring, multimedia, press conferences, and other applications where space is at a premium. They say that, based on their  B205D, the B207MP3 takes high-efficiency loudspeaker design to an entirely new level, one that is as feature-rich as it is versatile.

In keeping with BEHRINGER's "design further" philosophy, the company tells us that the B207MP3 is unique among small, portable speakers thanks to its built-in high-performance MP3 player for playing audio files from a USB stick, 3-band EQ, and built-in 4-channel mixer that accepts XLR, TRS and RCA inputs. Phantom power is provided for condenser microphones and one input allows connecting a Hi-Z instrument without the need for an external DI. There is also a dedicated stereo input for keyboards, MP3, CD or other sources.

The B207MP3 is compact and light enough to be mounted on a mic stand, while the 6.5" premium-quality, full-range driver provides heavy-duty sonic performance. BEHRINGER tells us that a revolutionary Class-D amplifier and internal switch-mode power supply pumps out 150 Watts, and additional active loudspeakers can be linked via a convenient THRU socket, making the B207MP3 ideal for use as a main system in more intimate venues.

A spokesperson had this to say, "The lightweight B207MP3 is housed in a super-tough, impact resistant enclosure with an integrated top-carrying handle, making it supremely portable for on-the-go performers and public speakers."
