30 Minutes of Prophet 12 Sounds

Rozzer.net is the online blog of sound designer Rory (aka Rozzer) who as well as working for FXPansion, does some freelance sound design work for various synth companies. One of them being Dave Smith Instruments.

Rory has recently taken delivery of one of the few Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 poly synths from DSI - we saw it at NAMM and were duly impressed. It feels like the new king of the polysynths - has an air of authority to it.

Some are less convinced, the fact that there are DCOs digital oscillators rather than voltage controlled ones is an issue for some purists. I'm not one of them,  talking to Dave Smith at NAMM he said that " I can do more cool things with digital oscillators than I can with VCOs" or words to that effect.

Anyhow what do you think of  Rozzers collection of sounds?
