Gretsch has expanded its Roots Collection with the addition of three new models, two banjos and one mandolin.

The G9311 New Yorker Supreme A/E Mandolin features a Fishman M300 "Nashville" piezo-ceramic pickup; all-solid mahogany top, back and sides; mahogany neck; rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays; Grover Sta-Tite machine heads; vintage-style clamshell tailpiece; nickel hardware; 13 7/8" scale; 1 1/16" nut; and antique semi-gloss vintage sunburst finish.

Styled after the innovative Broadkaster banjo of the early 20th century, the new G9420 Broadkaster "Supreme" features a three-ply solid maple rim; flame maple resonator back; three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck; rosewood fingerboard with vintage B&D inlays; 26 3/8" scale, 1 3/16" nut, 24 brackets; one-piece flange; brass tone ring; Remo Renaissance head; die-cast geared machine heads; vintage-style clamshell tailpiece; engraved armrest; nickel-plated hardware; and a luxurious shaded maple gloss finish.

Gretsch says that a deluxe version of their classic 1950s "Dixie" design, the G9451 "Dixie Deluxe" 5-String Open Back Banjo offers unparalleled value in today's popular banjo styles. Features include a Whyte Laydie tone ring; three-ply solid maple rim; three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck; rosewood fingerboard with frailing scoop and vintage B&D inlays; 26 3/8" scale, 1 3/16" nut; 24 tension brackets with notched hoop; 11" Remo High Crown Renaissance head; die-cast geared machine heads; vintage-style No-Knot type tailpiece; Vega-style armrest; nickel-plated hardware; and a luxurious amber maple gloss finish.
