NAMM 2014: Taylor's 200 Series Gets Deluxe Models

Taylor Guitars is debuting new additions to its popular 200 Series for 2014, the 200 Series Deluxe. They tell us that the new guitars are loaded with high-end looks and stage-ready performance appeal, all at an attractive price point.

The new Deluxes offer players a choice of a layered rosewood body with solid Sitka spruce top and an optional sunburst finish, layered koa body and solid Sitka spruce top, or a layered sapele body and a solid Sitka spruce top with an all-black finish. The special additions to the line are available in both Dreadnought and Grand Auditorium body shapes.

Each Deluxe model features a full-gloss body, Small Diamond fretboard inlays, a Venetian cutaway, and original Expression System electronics, and arrives in a hardshell Taylor case. Taylor believes that, starting at a suggested manufacturer's retail price of $1,598, the guitars are perfect for everyone from gigging musicians to beginners looking to invest in their first quality guitar.

Pricing and Availability:
$1,598 and upwards.
