MESSE 2014: Korg Kross Back In Black

Korg is now offering the Kross 88-key keyboard in a sleek, all-black body that they say provides a distinctive and elegant appearance for any venue or décor. As an additional enhancement, Korg is offering Kross users (both 61- and 88-key models) a new, free bonus expansion of 512 programs for download from Korg.com. It includes 128 sounds from the TRITON Music Workstation, as well as 384 diverse sounds with a selection of variations.

Here's Korg's description of Kross...

Kross is a mobile, affordable, keyboard workstation with audio/MIDI recording capabilities, AC or battery operation (6xAA), and a vast selection of cutting-edge sounds. The new, all-black Kross-88 with 88 fully-weighted keys, and the existing 61-key model, are Korg's first battery-powered, full-featured Korg keyboard workstations. With rich sounds that are top of its class, and practical features such as analog-style step sequencing and built-in audio recorder, all in a lightweight and portable package, Kross offers keyboardists of all levels an instrument with specs and style that will exceed any artist's expectation. The keyboard mimics the touch of an acoustic piano, with a heavier feel in the lower register and a lighter touch in the upper register.

Pricing and Availability:
The all-black Korg Kross-88 keyboard workstation will be available in May 2014 for a U.S. Street price of $999.99. The 61-key model in a red and black color scheme is also available for $699.99.
