Turn Your Guitar Into An Organ

EHX introduces the the B9 Organ Machine - check out the video   19-Jun-14

As previewed in a teaser picture a few weeks ago, Electro-Harmonix has now placed some of the details of the B9 Organ Machine stomp box on their website and posted a demo video.

A spokesperson had this to say, "With 9 presets that were finely tuned to emulate the most legendary organs from the '60s and beyond, the B9 Organ Machine will transform your guitar or keyboard. Tracking is fast and flawless. Control of its signature percussive click and sweet modulation is precise. Blend your dry instrument to create lush layers. Enough tonewheel and combo organ mojo to light your fire and cook up some green onions!"

B9 Specs

  • Transform the tone of a guitar or keyboard into that of a convincing full body, electric organ
  • 9 presets that were finely tuned to emulate some of the most popular and classic electric organ tones
  • Control over percussive attack level, modulation speed, organ and dry volume
  • Rugged and easy to use
  • EHX 9.6DC-200 PSU included

I don't play keys that we'll this might have saved me $1000 on my lovely combo organ, I really like the guitar/organ mix at the end, instant extra band member keyboardist!

Dear Jesus, amazing. Honestly if this was April 1st I'd have thought it was a joke. Most 'guitar to other instrument' things sound pretty terrible and dont seem to lend themselves well to the mechanics of guitar playing. This sounded perfect. Hopefully this aint some $499 thing or I'll be disappointed.

What kind of voodoo is this? WOW!!! It really needs a leslie effect with a foot switch but I'd still buy it if it's in the $200-300 range.

Well I was close on the potential price. Just read on a dolphin music article that "Rumor has it the US price will be roughly $293".

I think a sale price of $249 or less will have these pedals selling like crazy.

As a keyboard player I would have to say this sounds funny. I mean really funny - like cartoon funny. A sure way for any guitarist to not be taken seriously

I agree with Durumrulle in the fact that as a guitarist, if you took this into a job interview you would not be taken seriously.

For the rest of the 99% of the time when being taken seriously is somewhat irrelevant, this is an amazing sounding entity. I say that as a keyboard player who dabbles on guitar. Well done EHX
