PERC+ is a sample library for Native Instruments KONTAKT 5.1 which was released a few days ago. Unique to this library is that it is for fundraising - all proceeds go directly to the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, via Justgiving. In just a week since its release, close to $2,000 USD has already been raised for the charity, which aims to keep music alive in schools by donating musical instruments to under-funded music programs.
PERC+ (for KONTAKT 5.1) is a percussion sample library containing over 14 GB / 10.000+ samples of sounds made with a variety of cymbals and gongs, metal objects, prepared frame drums and upright piano. The sonic character of the 64 included instruments ranges from mellow and delicate (brushes, taps with fingers) to downright aggressive and experimental (a.o. articulations using bow, metal chains).
