Eastwood Guitars announces new Eastwood Custom Shop Design Center   08-Dec-14

Eastwood tells us that every week they get dozens of requests for new models, new colors, new lefties, etc, so they've come up with an innovative way to give their customers more of what they want via a Crowdfunding initiative.

A spokesperson told us, "This is how it works. Every month our employees and customers make suggestions for new models. We take the best ideas and turn them into projects for future releases. Once uploaded to our Current Projects Page, you can reserve one with a small deposit. The funding goal is the minimum number of deposits required to move forward. Once the project reaches its funding goal, we go to production. Three months later your instrument will be ready, you pay the balance and it will be delivered to your door"
