NAMM 2015: Tube Amp In A Cage

Bugera has announced the new T50 INFINUM, which they describe as a 50-Watt, dual channel, cage-style tube amp head with reverb and unique Multi-Class A/AB operation. With a 4 x ECC83 (12AX7) front end and a 2 x EL34 power stage, T50's push-pull power section delivers 50 Watts using switchable Class-A or Class-AB operation. Here's more details direct from Bugera...

The T50 INFINIUM also features Bugera's INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology, which monitors and controls output tube voltages, extending their lifespan by up to 20 times. The fully independent Clean and Lead channels each include a custom-tailored 3-band tone stack (Treble/Mid/Bass). A post-phase-splitter, dual-VR Master Volume provides full harmonic content, for maximum tone at any output level.

T50 INFINIUM's other features include a speaker-emulated DI output, high-definition Reverb and a Phat switch for boosting the sonic character and impact – plus a huge output transformer for increased dynamic response and clarity. The included footswitch allows the user to seamlessly switch between channels.

The Bugera T50 INFINIUM will be available at an U.S. MAP of US$ 299.99.
