Le Louvre should buy one of these and hang it up on the wall, because it's a piece of art.
The Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mk III is a six channel amplifier with six power tubes (three sets of two) - all of which can be turned on our off independently.
So with six channels (SIX!), plus the ability to combine the different sets of power tubes, there are 42 different possibile combinations in this amplifier, so it is effectively like having 42 different single channel amps.
Guitarist Gundy Keller gave us a demo and a run through of the amplifier which is MIDI switchable, and also has FX loop and noise gate.
It also features that super cool transparent plexi front panel, so you actually see the power tubes turning on and off.
