All the hoohah from this year's Musik Messe surrounded Roland's entry into the Eurorack scene. Contrary to most people's expectations, Roland embraced it, rather than trying to own it, and the announcement of the System-1M - a Eurorack ready System-1, complete with CV connections and Plug-Out technology they will fit right in. Or will they? We had a visit from David Ahlund, the AIRA product specialist, who brought one of only a couple of racks of AIRA Eurorack this side of the Globe.

David showed us the AIRA System-1M and also in a forthcoming video piece (patience now!), the four EFX Eurorack modules.

Basically, the System-1M is a rack version of the System-1, but with additional CV and Audio patch points, making it semi-modular. Could be just the thing to get you started in the world of Eurorack.

Shipments are expected Available June/July, priced at £449 - the same price as the (now discounted) System-1 was first released at.
