Rare Sixties Maton Guitar Reproduced

Eastwood Custom has announced that they will be making the Wedgtail DLX, targeting a release in early Autumn 2015, if enough of you want a reproduction of the Aussie oddity from Maton. This is what Eastwood has to say about it...

Very few North Americans are aware of Maton guitars, but our friends down under are Crazy about them - especially this ultra-rare Maton Wedgtail (often misspelt Wedgetail). Less than 110 were made from 1968-1973, and the "series one" 1968 version is SUPER rare. So we think it's time to put the Eastwood Custom Shop to work. This guitar will have a tone chambered body (to reduce weight), dual humbucker pickups, 3-way switch with dual volume and tone controls. Modern upgrades will include a Bigsby B-70 with roller bridge and a modern C-shaped slim taper neck profile. Our goal is to bring it to production street price of $999 Bigsby version. All pre-orders will receive a free custom hardshell case ($139 value).

Pricing and Availability:

$999

Pre-funding is $200.
