Yamaha ReFace Teaser 3 - What News?

Yamaha continue to baffle us with their teasers for the new Reface range (at least we suspect its more than one).

Lots of descriptive terms bandied about by the artists who've been exposed to the little feller(s). We do seem to have gleaned that it in some way references the legacy instruments, with CS, DX, CP and YC - at least the post on Yamaha Music Benelux's Facebook page seems to imply that:

We also suspect that they will have mini keys, as the 2nd Reface teaser had wonderment at the amazing sounds something that looks "like a toy" can produce. This clearly will not make everyone happy, but then you can use MIDI.

Of course you have to remember that Yamaha are the last of the big guns to the "new synth" game. Roland seem to have pulled it off, but Yamaha have no previous - at least not for a fair few years.

So next tease is due on 3rd July - not quite independence day. Maybe its all been an overly complicated campaign for a Motif with stars and stripes livery eh?
