Washburn Comfort Mini Series Ships

Three new 3/4 size guitars are now available in the UK   15-Jul-15

Washburn Guitars and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd have announced immediate availability of the new Washburn Comfort Mini series. They tell us that these three 3/4 size guitars sound much larger and far more musical than their smaller size would lead you to believe and make excellent recording or travel guitars. Here's their description of the new guitars...

The Washburn WCDM15SK, WCDM25SK and WCDM55K are 3/4 size, satin finished, dreadnought-style acoustic guitars with a solid spruce top. They all feature Comfort Series appointments like a forearm rest, consisting of a beveled strip of rosewood at the lower bout which becomes part of the rosewood top binding. A partial "Comfort" cutaway on the bottom of the upper bout allows superior access to the higher frets.

The mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays which ties in nicely with the rosewood bridge. The rosewood capped headstock features a maple inlaid Washburn logo and stylised W as well as gold tuners with ebonite buttons. The gorgeous rosette is made of alternating maple and mahogany.

The Washburn WCDM15SK features mahogany back and sides, the WCDM25SK features rosewood back and sides and the WCDM55K has a koa top, back and sides. All models include gig bags.
