BPM 2015: The New ROLI Rise MPE Controller In The Flesh

Last weeks announcement of the more affordable ROLI Seaboard Rise 25-key controller with  Multi-dimensional Polyphonic Expression, means that this technology, previously only available in the flagship ROLI Seaboard and Seaboard Grand is now more affordable. Additionally, they've made some changes to the design to bring it into more familiar territory for your average keyboardist or controllerist.

We caught up with RISE product manager Manon who gave us a look at how it operates and why we should be seeing more MPE capabilities in  third party software very soon.

RISE is available for preorder via ROLI.com priced at £599/$799 and will be shipping next month to the initial pre-orders.
