The nOb is an endless rotary encoder designed to give precise control of on-screen parameters. With an industrial grade, hi resolution, touch sensitive Aluminium knob, housed in an artisan hardwood case, with two old-school toggles switches, it's capable of precision control of mouse driven parameters with up to 2400 counts per rotation.
Currently running as a live Kickstarter campaign, uses shown include audio production, video work and many others, but seems primarily aimed at the creative user. It's a nice idea and one we've seen in Steinberg's Cubase and other DAWs where a controller can be mapped to the parameter the mouse is hovering over, but this one is just a beautiful thing.
Most of the early bird deals are gone - but you can still get a August 2016 delivery if you are quick. I do hope you can appreciate our restraint when considering headlines for this article, we could have been so filthy....
