Massive Attack Producer Neil Davidge Got An Hour With The DeepMind 12

Behringer ask - What will you do with yours?   06-Feb-17

Neil Davidge was featured in the Behringer DeepMind 12 teaser videos. His reactions were positive as one might expect. Presumably at the same sessions, Neil was given some time to build some riffs over a beat he had with him. Left to his own devices with the prototype (at the time called the Phat 12). This is what he came up with. Pretty impressive results we think, with plenty of that classic Bristol sound.

Neil Davidge worked with Massive Attack on many of their classic recordings - perhaps most notably he was responsible for getting that vocal from Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins) on the seminal track Teardrop.

In this video Behringer want to know what you might be able to do with yours? A good question.

The DeepMind 12 is an analog 12 voice poly synth with four DSP engines. Its available now and is reaching stores worldwide. priced at $999/£999
