Softube have expanded the range of modules available for their Softube Modular - the software modular system - we reviewed it earlier this year and were impressed with its authenticity.

The latest addition to the range is the 4ms Ping-able Envelope Generator (PEG) - make under exclusive license from 4ms. its got two ADSR envelope generators which can each be 'pinged' or triggered and modified from external sources - in hardware its often used for complex rhythmic patches. For instance you can define each envelopes cycle length, creating polyrhythms, percussion or LFO like wobbles.
