NAMM 2014: Mike Dawes Interview: We FINALLY Catch Up With The Magical Maestro

We chat to Mike at NAMM 2014 - in the midst of his US tour   03-Feb-14

    MP4 9:48 mins

We've been trying to arrange an interview with Mike for a long time now, but in between touring, writing, recording, and arranging his next tour - he's a busy man.

Finally our paths crossed at the NAMM show this year, where Mike was spending some time visiting friends and seeing what NAMM had to offer.

So we had a chat with Mr Dawes, who offered his advice on everything from composition, to percussive fingerstyle technique and even the admin involved in being a modern musician.

Mike shot to online fame after his cover of "Somebody I Used To Know" officially went uber viral and amassed a million views in a very short space of time.

To hear his insight on making it as a modern day musician, check out the video above.
