To give you a little background on me, I am a recording engineer living in Nashville TN. I have been in the music business professionally since 1992, and music as a hobby/entertainment since fifth grade.(band, piano, organ) - all those things parents like to make you do so later you can say "Wow, they were right, I wish I had kept practicing..." I work on all different types of music, country, Christian, pop, and a fair amount of indie hodge-podge. Artists ranging from Spice Girls, Natalie Imbruglia, Jennifer Paige, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Audio Adrenaline, Jennifer Knapp, Knappy Roots, No Authority, and Venus Hum just to name a few. I have/had in my synth arsenal, a System 100m, Synthi AKS, CS-15, Pro 1, Sherman Filterbank, Akai 3200xl, the MOTM. Along with a Doepfer system, ARP 2600, Expanders, Wave XT, Ob MX, and a Mini Moog all at my disposal through a partner. So I had a pretty large selection of things to listen to and use before I decided to get the MOTM. Largely I use the MOTM modules for sound manipulation during tracking or mixing. I am not a synth 'programmer' nor would I ever claim to be one. As an engineer I have had a blast incorporating it into my collection of gear I take to sessions with me. Bass, GTR's, Drums, loops, vocals, nothing is safe. Besides, it's big, black, and has lotsa knobs and wires. What better way to impress musicians and producers?!!
