System Requirements
One of the strengths of virtual instruments is that their power and performance is determined by your computer. Emagic's tech specs tell us that the EXS-24 works with a 200MHz PowerMac or better. Hmmm. Technically that's true, but only if you're happy with little more than one voice at a time, with some serious keyboard latency playing parts in. Personally I wouldn't use it with anything less than a 350MHz G3, with at least 128MB of RAM, preferably 256MB for multiple samples with complex mapping. Once you've got this kind of power behind it, you can run up to 16 EXS24s at once, each with 64-note polyphony. So if you've always wanted to hear ten full symphony orchestras trading licks with one another other, the EXS24 is the way to do it...
