Not bad at all! I actually love this piece of software, though there are a few points I don't like. First, the retro quicktime driver is pretty buggy with quicktime 4. I e-mailed customer service and they confirmwed that they hadn't yet even tried running it with qt4 yet. Customer service is pretty uneven, and I never receive the 10 free patches I was supposed to get when I registered. Whatever, it sounds pretty phenomenal, though not quite as rich as the Reaktor soft synth. I'm running it through cubase via rewire on a 300mhz G3 and so far very few problems with running out of processing power.

It sounds good, and with rewire it integrates well into my studio, but I've discovered it does tend to lack a little "punch" sonicly. The leads are good, esp the sync'ed sounds, but most basses are kind of cold.

And the built-in-FX are pretty lo-quality. Best bet is to record everything dry and then apply outboard effects.

It's damn easy to program, though, and it comes with over 1000 stock sounds, some of which are quite creative.

oh, and by the way... the effects are only good if all you play on is low end digital synths and software synths making hardcore trance and breaks. If you want truly great effects, shell out the money and get some hardware because software effects are still light years behind the real thing. You won't believe me until you go out an buy a real processor and a real compressor. They change the way you make music.
