Well, first of all, Arguru isn't the only developer anymore. The program has definitely become better and better. More stable. It depends very much on your background when you have give this proggy a ease-of-use rating. As a trackermusician, I like this program very much. Every piece of software has it short comings. I ca only say I like Psycle better than Reason and Fruityloops, but others will disagree with that. (don't get me wrong, Reason en FL are crafty tools too!) For the price (zip/nada) it's great!! It takes a while to make the fx sound really good, but it's rewarding.

This program is more like the standard tracker interface than Buzz. Good program, and high quality too. If you are already comfortable with a tracker interface, go with this one instead of Buzz. But the amount of plugins is somewhat pathetic compared to Buzz. You may be resorting to samples and other software and VSTs instead of native plugins. If this was being developed for more, I might go with this program as a higher rating than Buzz. As it stands, there are two things in the way. 1) This interface isn't "just as easy" as Buzz. In fact, I'd say this is about twice as hard to learn (after going through the manual a couple of times, I'm still confused). Buzz has patterns that are quite wide, with 1 row for each parameter. Psycle makes you select the parameter with a parameter. This can make simple things, such as cutoff crechendos, very difficult. 2) Buzz is well developed, has all the features I need, and Psycle doesn't yet.

So, I don't fully dislike this program. However, if there were no Buzz, I might still be using cakewalk and a Yahmaha DJX, or even be a devoted Cubasis user *shudder*. I would have never been able to learn this tracker interface without being started first on Buzz. I am however, in support of free software, so this gets a decent score.
