I don't know why the Quantum isn't more famous either. Sounds great to my ears, although the presets do need some editing. DBX tended to throw in the kitchen sink with every preset, when in fact I often need just a couple of the processed to do what I need. Editing is so easy once you get the hang of this box. The only thing awkward about it is the two tiered method of saving patches. Unnecessarily confusing and convoluted. Other than that, the Quantum iis excellent in my opinion.
I also think the converters sound good, as does the dithering. The Quantum has become a real workhorse in my studio.

The Quantum has filled a void in my studio and then some. It truly adds a serious polish to a mix. IMHO it is a tremendous box for the independent artist.

The Masterflow is fucking superb! though not £800 price difference superb, you have to work harder with the Quantum to achieve the same goal but like TC, with Drawmer you`re paying for the name.
I checked SoundOnSound and the only mastering box featured regularily in most dealers ads are the TC units, if people don`t know that the Quantum (and Masterflow) exist they`ll keep on paying through the nose for "the real thing"
I`m glad I had the sense to check out the options in a good environment and bagged the DBX
Now someone will write in and tell us that the £350 Behringer one kills them all (;-)

Why is this box not more famous? I A/B'd it with a Finalizer when I bought it and it won hands down. The Finalizer just sounds harsh and crunchy in comparison. (I'd be interested to try a Masterflow though.)
Otherwise this is a great tool, and amazing value for what it does. You can use it for tracking too, and it definitely adds that high-end something that you can't get any other way.

TC can look to their laurels, dbx and Drawmer are hitting hard with their processors, the Finalizer just got Finalized! and the street price on the Quantum makes it a steal.
