I have used my mx2004a for 2 years and have had no problems except for bad mic audio from Sure SM58, SM57 and a T4 SM58 and a laveler. The low end of the audio spectrum was not good had a resonance below 1 KHZ. I tested the input of the XLR plugs and found that they were 1000 ohms. I padded them with 150 ohm resistors and that seemed to fix the problem. All other inputs seemed to work great.

MX2004a so sad to see it go, but can't wait on the new one. Top quality mixer from Germany, just like my top quality synth, my Waldorf Q+ also from Germany.
