Now this is a better unit for both vocals and keyboards!!Not grungy like I would like(guitar effects are best for that)but it came closer than the virtualizer pro!The delays allow midi tempo control, the vocoder is 8 band but cleaner than the virtualizer pro.the setings are real easy to edit and the unit is cheap too.I would get one again if I could but for $50 not $200!!

its not a high-end hi-fi device, but its one of the best low cost effects i own great for keybords, bass and some vocals.it has an arsenal of special effects like :vocoder, isolator, step cry ,and filters .i think its one of the most affording effects for home/project studios

I'm fairly happy with the Zoom 2000 but there are some things about it which really bother me. First, there are no ping-pong or non-matched stereo delays. Secondly, the combinations of "chorus(or delay) +(or //) reverb" are quite limited - more limited in fact than my old Boss SE-50. I also feel that it is much poorer for mutating sounds than my SE-50 - which I find surprising given that it must have the processor power. Finally, I think the green, black (and red lcd) colour combination is ugly.

Still, a decent effects processor for the price.

I'm not familiar with Zoom products, but this is a pretty sweet processor for the price. Extremely easy to use. I haven't had to use the PC editor yet. If I had 400 bucks to spend for an effects processor, I'd probably buy two of these. Has all purpose effects including mastering...spdif out is awesome.
