It's a wonderful tool for creating cool loops. Be it drums, bass, noises, whatever. A nice feature is being able to place an emphasis on certain notes, which makes for much more interesting drum sounds. Emphasized notes can have different resonance/volume/distortion levels from other notes... Very cool.
