Freestyle is a good basic MIDI sequencer. No audio capabilities. The interface was more user friendly than something like cakewalk. Note events (set up in a "piano roll" fashion) are easily manipulated (pitch, duration, beat) with a click of the mouse. I found it very easy to learn and use.
