I have mine for bout 10 years now. Need a second one. I hope they are still made. Don't think there's an alternative though. Wish Mackie continued making good mixers instead of those crap monitors and inferior stuff.

This is the best line mixer for keyboardists ever. Check out reviews of top keyboardplayers with all the major acts and producers like Timbaland a.o. They all have this one in their racks. I will never sell it. Sixteen stereo (!) channels in one piece of hardware. I have to buy a second one. I hope it isn't true that it is discontinued.

nonono,i think it sucks totally, well, its quieter than the crappy 1202/1402(vlz/non-vlz/vlz-pro whatever),but still very noisy compared to those hi-quality tascam mixer(got both the clean, quiet and warm altogether!)no need to mention the hi-end digi mixers like dm24...or even the buggy yammy aw series, all sound better ,quieter and warmer than this crap.rate it 1 for the compact fake-32 nstereo channels design.
