I picked one of these up very cheaply (30 pounds) so I bought it because I knew it was cheap really. I knew what it was of course. Now I have it I use it all the time. Send a hihat through it and then gate a string or bass to the hihat pattern then effect the output to get some very wacky old noises. It is good fun to play around with just to see how you can just alter a simple drum loop. Use the ducking switch to make some nice alternate effects - as one channel opens another closes. I would recomment this unit. It is sturdy as you like as well. Mine has had numerous repairs on the pots and it still working fine and it looks like it has seen some action. I would not part with this now.

I am only giving it 8 because I know that I am not using it to its full capacity. When I am more proficient I will return and upgrade the score.
