I like the package, but the hoontech website sucks! I can't access any of the help or Q&A forums! What gives? Therefore I have absolutely NO tech support for the adc&dac2000. For example, what are the system requirements? I have a celeron 500 Mhz cpu with 768 MB RAM and a 40 GB 7200rpm hard drive, and I can only record 3 tracks at a time before the audio starts getting nasty crackles and dropouts (recorded). This is using Cool Edit Pro 2.0 optimized for the best possible performance (i.e. buffer settings, cache sizes, etc. set to the best settings for my system). So, to make a long question short, what are you guys running (system wise) and what kind of simultaneous track recording count are you getting? I'm beginning to regret selling my VS880EX, which at least let me record 6 tracks at once!

Great sound card when u consider the price but the inputs are not soooo good. I use the best audio cables with my synths and i am not so happy with the noise level. Anyway it's a beauty, u can't get anything better for this amount of money. Hoontech did a grat job here.

Extremely happy with this card. I am very glad i purchased it because the 8 ins and outs really expand my capabilities for a small studio. I wish they would have some direct sound drivers becuase i really only use fruityloops. I love it.

I have 2x(ADSP24 + ADC/DAC 2000)= 16 Analog + 4 Digital I/O in my home studio setup. The sound is great and I believe ADSP24 is the best value for the money. Excellent customers support & service (I bought it directly from the company and after 4 days I got it from Korea to Australia). They deserve a good word for that. On the other hand the manual really sucks but you're not gonna need it to install and setup the card and it works with everything form Cubase, Cakewalk, Giga Sampler-Studio, AudioLogic, Rebirth, Reason, Wavelab etc... Also its expandability to 40 I/O makes it the best choice for a home studio.
