I dunno, found this at a pawn shop for about a hundred bucks, and I was told I paid too much. Thing was brand new on the box, with user manual, power supply and WARREANTY card never sent in! This thing has been D/C'd so I don;t know if Behringer would honour the warranty. I'll try anyway, why not? Heh. I checked this thing out before I bought it, brought all of my mikes and phones, everything worked including the Phantom Power, and I AM keeping in mind Derek's PHANTOM POWER failure... However, I bought this for my computer, I constantly run A/V into my system, and I convert old tapes to Digotal, and this is my promary use. I love the design, I have always liked KNOBS rather than faders. I used to have a Tascam 424 MK-II but I used the mixer to death and then the tape transport failed. So, what I want is a Tascam 4-track recorded that is the rack mount version, so I can use this Mixer to mix my 4x tapes. This this is exactly what I wanted it for... I hope the phantom power holds out. Thanx for all the comments from everyone, I do not feel I was robbed when I got this now.

It is a nice bang-for-the-buck and it fits quite well in a home studio and even better on stage. Never got any complaints about it, yet. Abused it on stage several times and it never gave up.

Bought the MX802 on recommendation of others, used it lightly for six month s at home, and the phantom power died. Or at least the switch did. It's being RMAd as I speak, and should be fixed under warranty, but something with this light use in a clean office setting shouldn't break. I wouldn't buy one of their lower-end products again as a result.
