first time you see it you'll think 'what a toy...', then you'll discover how many things you can do with this
the power is endless, the possibilities too, it's up to you, i.m.o. really more powerful than Reason, for ex.
in the new versoin 3.0 you have knobs automated and piano roll for 32 & 64th; heard that V.4.0 will be all piano roll. i got the wiked drums with internal sound processed by internal filters and new lfo's; remember that you import your sounds.
essential glad i see that many artists i like and pro. abuse of this thing

Superb software; just coz it's cheap and simple doesn't make it limited. I've used almost every sequencer /audio program out there and this is the most immediately creative, flexible and fun to use. I've sold all my so called `classic' drumboxes, such is the faith I have in this software. It could do with a proper mixer page though (is there one in V3?)and to get the best results you will need DirectX 6/7 and a nice chunk of RAM if you want to run a few TS404's. Wicked software.

I have used 2.7 a lot for making psycedelic trance paterns. the ts 404 virtual synth is grate!! Just give it some distortion, phaser, delay and eq and your sound will be filterd by the lfo and the cut and sound real analog. The new 3 version is a lot more usfull with its sim synth, wasp, flanger, phaser etc.. 2.7's gratest disadvantige is the fact that it doesnt have a "wrapper" chanel to use vst instruments.Finaly I personaly prefer fruity over Cubase but thats cause i'm a looser!!!

Try version 3.11. I use FruityLoops for all my tracks now. I just sampled all the sounds from the Roland XP-30,XP-10,Korg Triton,Trinity, and Karma. Now i have over $10,000 worth of sounds for free. Why buy a workstation when you can make one for $99???
