This is the best. Its the only reason I even have a PC anymore. I do most of my music on my mac, but I get to use my PC at work as a scratch pad with this. It is the all singing, all dancing desktop wonder-drummachine-sampler-synth-amathing. it has fun built in effects, and can import and timestretch anything you can get into a .wav file. Fruity is the best, its too bad they will never make a Mac version, because then I would be beyond stoked about it, as it is I give it an 8 just because they are so anti-Mac, like us Mac users have anything to do with the size of Steve Jobs' head.

Great software probably the best, however, I wasn't to impress with the upgrade version fruityloops was marketing. Never uograded the sounds they added ADSR, Record button, some of re-births drums but that all didn't make much of a difference as to hear/play new sounds. Overall great sequencer and drum machine.

This is one hell of a amazing Software I've ever come across. I bought the Pro version and I've been able to use it the way I want. Being an Indian, I wanted to create Indian rhythms and I was able to do it by importing Tabla wav samples!! It even supports the Drumsynth and Symsynth (free) software sounds.
I've to stop now else, I'll keep on writting :-)

Excellent piece of software. Amazing level of features for 149 bucks(I purchased v2.0). The developers have been very quick to fix bugs(2.7 fixed a .wav rendering error) and now the program is very stable. It has replaced my sampler/drum machine completely, I will not ever learn some archaic drum machine user interface ever again. This thing does every thing that the TR808 interface could not do:
-Shuffle -Shift -Velocity -filter cut -resonance
Inshort, if you don't have this software, your creativity is being stifled....
