I have owned the ISIS since its launch. I paid £200.00 for it and it is probably the best money I have ever spent! I have done numerous recordings (semi and pro) with it - the most recent being for a local radio station where I do the sweepers and idents - all done using the ISIS card and Logic 5 Platinum with the voiceovers/musicians etc being recorded over an ISDN link!!! My PC spec is 1G Athlon on a Gigabyte board, 512Mb/dual hard drive system and I have never had any problems with it falling over. It has been used for live recording of local bands and I have had some problems with latecy but it is currently running at around 20ms! which is workable. I am consistenly working with 20-30 tracks at a time and never have any problems. It is a bit dated now as it only records with a max res of 20bit/48kHz. but overall, it does a fantastic job!

This card was ahead of it's time, and that's why it never really worked. Now way out of date, It's just a waist of time to work with.

This card is the worst I've ever had (I had 2 of them, normal and XL). It did work, but there was no serious support (both drivers and helpdesk) and it was always lagging. Could not record more than 3 tracks before tracks started to delay. And it was not my hardware that caused that.
Screw this card and hope Guillemot will never think of copying soundcards again. (I'll never buy any Hercules videocard either as they are Guillemot in fact).
Add 1 point for the fact that it actually did produce sound.

I own 3 computers, with M Audio OMNI studio (on p3 1ghz. with inexplicable static noise in recs), ISIS (on p3 500mhz) and SW1000XG (on p4 1.4ghz) seperately on each. My fav is the ISIS. Looking forward to another take on this card with 24/32 bit and up to 96khz ADDA
