Tryied the demo version of reason, i think it is very bad! The interface is too small, the piano roll is painfull and the analog synth is aliasing and sounds very cheap...

Reason is a great program I own a full blown studio with Pro Tools 5.1 and about every kind of synth ever made from Mini Moog and Profits to Trintons JP 8080's and tons of modules point being I have to drive across town to get to my studio just to fill my daly beat making craving. I bought a copy of reason to use at home. This program is amazing I use it at home to make tracks I use Recycle to chop up samples from all the records in my basement. Im a very busy producer I work on 10 to 20 songs a week this program is a great help I love the Rewire option I can send the reason song to Cubase In Cubase I can fattin up the tracks with other keyboards and FX. I like what Propellerheads has done this is a BEAT MAKING tool, and it intergrates well with most Pro Audio setups including Pro Tools I can dump tracks directly into a DAW or Adats and mix the reason tracks on a pro mixing board The pros are using this program belive me! just think what this program will be like in 3 years!!!!!! My wish list would include Ablity to rewire to Pro Tools, Layring of sampled sounds in the sampler, a fatter analog synth the subtractor is good but it doesnt come close to the JP 8080 or Mini moog version 2.0 is comming with a new sampler and Synth Ill keep you posted
