Please, I need HELP with my audiophile, a super heroe! I use a G4/533 with OS 9.2.2 and I can't understand this phenomenon, suddenly the audio is gone! Midiman told me: re install the drivers... yes, and change the slot too! ok! But this process every day is crazy or no? Please, if somebody knows something, I'll be grateful thanks

i have a problem with the drivers of the audiophile:WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL DOESN'T RECOGNISE THE DRIVERS (I downloaded the latest version of the drivers for windows XP from the M-audio website, and unzipped them to a floppy disc).

These are the steps I followed:

1. After physically installing the audio card, I reboot the pc. 2. The wizard "found new hardware" appears --> multimedia-audio controller. 3. I select "I will select the device from a list". 4. I press "next" 5. I select "controller for sound, game and video". 6. A list appears with manufacturers and models. Only game gear appears, NO M-audio, NO Audiophile. 7. I select "browse". 8. I select the A:\ drive (with the drivers!). 9. I press "OK". 10. A dialog appears with the message: "on this location no information about the hardware".

What more can I do to get the drivers installed and the Audiophile running??? What could be the problem?

Pops and clicks are the main issue for me. I can hear them during all kinds of audio playback, and they seem to be appearing at random at a lot of the time. i'm thinking about taking the card back if i can't get the issue resolved.

Professional pianist, not sound guy. Haven't had any problems with the card. Hooked up easily with XP driver downloaded from site. Sales people at M-Audio kindly sent me Logic Delta CD because bundled software wouldn't work with my OS.Card does everything I've tried perfectly and with sounding results.

I installed this card on a 733 G4 and it worked right off the bat. When I installed the drivers and opened cubase it was already the default midi device and also showed up as my default audio interface. It sounds great.
