At the price I paid for this unit it could be a cardboard shoebox with half a dozen knobs and it would still be great value for money. It is quiet, does exactly what it is suppose to, is flexible & reliable. I really dont think you could get a better unit costing even double what this unit cost.

i use my 1604 to run my keyboards and effects then run that to my computer which i purchased "music studio 7 (from bestbuy for $40) and i couldnt be happier. over the rackmount equipment i have chosen behringer for effects, eq, compressors, and they make a descent patch bay as well. hope you guys take into behringer, i know im hooked
